DESTINATION : Stratosphere Tower Rooftop

The Stratosphere is one of the major casinos in Las Vegas which happens to be the tallest structure (by far) in Nevada and the 5th tallest in the United States. Other than that, the real attractions are the 5 extreme amusement rides located on the rooftop. The ride pictured is called “Insanity”. It hurls the riders 1,149 feet above the strip so their bodies are nearly horizontal to the ground facing straight down. To get some perspective, the tallest roller coaster (Kingda Ka) in the world only reaches 456 feet at its highest peak.
