DESTINATION : Staffa Island

DESTINATION : Staffa Island

This Viking named island in Scotland is most recognizable by the seemingly man-made hexagonal basalt pillars.

But this intriguing pattern is all natural, including the famous Fingal’s Cave. Located in an island of the Inner Hebrides in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. While not as hard to get to as Pitcairn Island, Staffa can only be reached at certain times and conditions: only via boat rides from the mainland and during the best weather conditions between May and September.
