Located in Algarrobo, Chile on a beautiful beach. But visitors don’t come for the pristine beach, they come for the Guinness world record’s largest and deepest swimming pool ever created. It’s 1000 yards wide, 19 acres, 115ft deep and holds 66,000,000 gallons of crystal clear seawater. It’s one way for a backpacker to go the beach but not go to the beach.
Like the Burj Khalifa, the pool at San Alfonso Del Mar is the biggest of its kind by a massive margin.
