5 Amazing Places To Go Camping Around The World
Going camping can be one of the easiest things if you’re organized. Some families go every weekend and when Friday comes around they jump in the car and off they go. You can go as much as you like, but it’s not as if you can go to different places all the time.
There are only so many miles you can drive before you set up camp, or you’ll never get back in time for work on Monday morning. You don’t have to settle for the same old forests every time you go away.
There’s a whole world out there and the camping can be much better than you’ve ever experienced before. The great part about it is that it doesn’t cost you tons of money because you’re still not staying in a fancy hotel every night. The biggest cost you will find is the flight, but if you’re only going on one big adventure per year you can maybe save hard and cover the cost.
Let’s look at some of the best places around the world that you can camp and you can see if you recognize any.
Yellowstone National Park, USA
I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of this one even though you might never have been before. It could be easy for your first big adventure instead of leaving the US. It’s one of the country’s top destinations and there are absolutely thousands of things to do. Anyone will be able to occupy themselves with something they love, or something they’ve never even tried before. You can even make camp close to some of the park’s natural hot springs and you will get to take a warm bath every day.Sahara Desert, Morocco
If you’re looking for one of the best experiences in the world then you would need to make your way to Morocco. From there you would head out into the Sahara Desert on camels and camp at one of their traditional encampments a nomad would use. You can get luxury ones, but if you’re on a budget you can stick to the basic camps. You even get lovely traditional Moroccan food cooked for you by great chefs. Wait until you see the sunrise over the desert and you won’t know what’s hit you.Australian Outback, Australia
Most Australians live by the coast, but if you venture out further into the outback you’ll come across some great sites. You have to remember to tell someone exactly where you’re going because if you don’t come back they’re going to have to rescue you. If you really want to camp Aussie style you need to throw away your tent and grab one of their swags. It’s like a sleeping bag cocoon with a mattress built into the bottom. Light a fire and sleep under the stars. The Lake District, England
Don’t be afraid of the weather because I know that’s what you were thinking. The view from your camp will more than make up for it, plus if you go in the middle of summer the weather isn’t going to be too bad. England still has summers even though they might not be hot enough to burn you. You can’t beat the beautiful English countryside and if you love walking you will absolutely love the Lake District National Park.Corcovado National Park, Costa Rica
Let’s move away from the cold and onto somewhere much hotter. If you’re looking for jungles, waterfalls, lagoons, and deserted beaches then Corcovado National Park is somewhere you need to check out. Luckily it’s only a short plane trip and you don’t have to go half way around the world. There are plenty of animals to look out for and you might get a visit from some of the local monkeys. If having a tropical rainforest right outside your tent is important then fly down.
