Times Square should also be on your list of the top places to see in New York. This place is very crowded and busy, so you won’t want to try to drive into it. Take a cab to the location and walk around. You will never experience the hustle and bustle of New York City better than you will in Times Square.

Broadway Shows

There are many other places to see in NYC. Some things you just have to experience for yourself. For example, you will not want to miss going to a Broadway show. Just walking down Broadway and seeing all the theaters and the hustle and bustle of the city is an experience in itself. Actually seeing one of these world famous plays is another experience entirely. It is one of the most popular NYC attractions.

Central Park

You should also visit Central Park, or more specifically the zoo located there. This zoo has some exotic animals that you will not see in other zoos. The park itself is absolutely beautiful and one of the places to see in NYC, and the zoo grounds are as well. There is simply no way to compare that experience with other zoos across the nation.

While difficult, it is possible to cram all five of these activities into one day. It is better if you have two or three days to really enjoy the attractions and the city itself. That way you can take your time and really see the city for what it is. Even better yet, if you have an entire week or more you can see other New York City attractions such as the many museums and art galleries. However, if you only have one or two days to enjoy the city, these top five places to see in NYC should definitely make your list.
