No need to bring lots of cash
I say this for two reasons. One, you can enjoy much of what Thailand has to offer without breaking the bank. Unless you want to go on a super shopping spree, you probably will spend less than you can imagine. Two, there are ATMs everywhere, and I have found out the hard way that you get more value by withdrawing from a cash machine than exchanging your money at a shop. Yes, that includes the withdrawal fees your bank will charge. Just make sure you do not keep on making multiple withdrawals.
Bring long pants or dresses with you
I don’t know about you, but when I go on vacation, I go for comfort over style. However, if you are planning on visiting temples and shrines in Thailand, it is best if you bring more than shorts and short dresses with you. These attractions are a must-visit, yes, but you also have to respect local customs. In short: you will not be allowed inside temples and shrines if you are not dressed “decently”. You’ll be safe with long pants/dresses.
Don’t hesitate to eat “street food”
Street food may not be the norm where you come from, but in Thailand, street food is the best! It is clean and safe, too, so you have nothing to worry about. There is no lack of upscale restaurants in Thailand, but if you want the real thing, the eateries on the streets are the way to go. Not only are they cheap, but the food is very tasty as well. You will see a lot of locals eating there, and you know that is a good indication!
Visit TripAdvisor for car rentals with tour guides
This is something that I was not keen on doing when I first visited Bangkok. I was afraid of getting scammed, but after some research and interaction with people on TripAdvisor, I decided to hook up with a local tour guide who offered to take me around outside of Bangkok. The deal included the car and gas for an entire day, and while it cost more than taking public transportation, the comfort and convenience was well worth it. Also, the guide was a local who was very accommodating, making the day tour very enjoyable. You really ought to consider this, especially if you want to discover the area/s outside of the city.

I’m traveling to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket. I’m interested in the general public bathrooms in Thailand. If they’re clean, have actual toilets or have toilet tissue.
The main reason I request is I continued a vacation to China as well as their public bathrooms were pretty terrible. They rarely had actual toilets. These were usually horizontal troughs or urinals included in the floor and you’ve got to squat on the hole that always didn’t have eliminating system, urine all around the floor, a massive nauseating stench, sometimes no stalls or doorways not to mention, no toilet tissue! LOL
So I am curious if Thailand includes a better system.

My parents come from Vietnam, and both of them are Vietnamese. I’m not sure why these were in Thailand, but all I understand is the fact that I had been born in Thailand, and three after i was 3 several weeks old I gone to live in the united states. Throughout Katrina my mother lost our paperwork. We been busy with many different other activities and haven’t become the opportunity to re do my paperwork. I finally re did my eco-friendly card, as well as my SS card. Wouldso would Time passes about getting my BC from Thailand? Thanks ahead of time.
