Bangkok, which is the capital of Thailand, is home to nearly 12 million people. This city is not only considered to be the political and economic leader of South-East Asia, but it is also one of the world’s most popular tourist locations. Bangkok offers a vast array of fun and excitement, and visitors will need several days to explore all that the city has to offer.
While in Bangkok, visitors will want to visit the Grand Palace and explore the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, where various royal ceremonies are often performed. The temple is located in the north-east corner of the palace and locals call it the Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram. Some other must-sees in the palace are the City Pillar Shrine and the Thrones.
If visitors would like to go shopping while in Bangkok, they will not be disappointed. Some excellent places to shop while in the city are Damnoen Saduak and Chatuchak Weekend Market. Damnoen Saduak is a “floating market” that offers such things as flowers and fresh fruits and vegetables, sold directly off of row boats. At the Chatuchak Weekend Market, travelers will find more than 8,000 venders selling an array of souvenirs to take home.
There is food everywhere in Bangkok. From restaurants to vending carts, visitors can experience all of the delicacies of the land. Some favorites to choose among include Thailand’s Phad Thai, Tom Yum Goong soup, Pad Thai fried noodles, Gaeng Deng and Som Tum salad. The nightlife in Thailand also offers much promise with its many thrilling clubs and cocktail bars.
Relax on The Lovely Island of Phuket:
With its breathtaking beauty, the island of Phuket makes a perfect romantic getaway so people from all over the world flock to this beautiful island to experience its many wonders. Phuket offers a broad range of sights and activities, and it is sure to be a memorable vacation worth repeating.
Phuket is most known for its sandy, golden beaches and the most popular beach of them all is the lovely Patong Beach. Aside from sunbathing and swimming, visitors may choose to partake in a variety of other activities while at the beach as well. Some of the exciting activities, offered at Patong Beach, include scuba diving, jet skiing, snorkeling, surfing, parasailing, kayaking and skim boarding.

Ko Chang is an island located in the east of Thailand near the Cambodian border. It is Thailand’s second largest island and it is known as a tropical marine national park. With its spectacular mountains, magnificent waterfalls, lovely rain forests, golden beaches and exciting nightlife, it is also one of Thailand’s most sought-after vacation destinations.
One of the most favorite activities to partake in while visiting Ko Chang is elephant riding. This is a fun and exciting activity that allows visitors to explore various parts of the gorgeous island. While riding one of these magnificent beasts, people will be able to view beautiful forests, rivers and mountains, as well as, the many coconut trees and banana plants of the area.
Water sports are also favorite activities to participate in while visiting Ko Chang. Some of the most popular water sports include diving and snorkeling, and visitors will delight in seeing such creatures as eel, anemones, reef fish and even white sharks.
