BETSIBOKA RIVER - PHOTO

DESTINATION : Betsiboka River

The Betsiboka River is Not Flowing of Lava or Blood, But it is Real.

One of the most unique and exotic rivers in the world spanning 326 miles. The colorful Los Angeles sun rises/sets are widely believed to be achieved by air pollution and similarly the striking red and orange color in this Madagascar river is the result of excessive amounts of sediments. However, Betsiboka River is a natural phenomena. In the West of Maevatanana a bridge on the RN 4 can get you just about on top of the Mars like attraction, but only for the dedicated backpacker.
