Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress and former palace built by King Kashyapa. Also known as Lion’s Rock (due to the massive lion paws at the entrance), Sigiriya has been used and inhabited since 5th century B.C. and even before history. The extraordinary gardens leading up to the ruins alone would be worth the long backpacking trip there and the fact that its one of the World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka.

Can anybody produce a couple of websites that can help with this particular question? I have to understand how each side (India & Britain) were impacted by the import/export of cotton from India. I curently have some good info about Britain’s effects, however i aren’t able to find anything relating to India.
Going this summer!
Sigirya celebrate sense, since the people in those days they were not that stupid, they did based each one of these different religions on something.
